Good News Translation (formerly known as Today's English Version)

Published by the American Bible Society and known as the "Good News Bible" when the full Bible was first published in 1976, this accurate but easy-to-read modern translation was published with the deuterocanonical books and Imprimatur in 1979. The text was fully revised and updated in 1992. A Catholic Edition with Imprimatur was published in 2003.
